Our designers typically work in a staged process.
Design Brief
The first step in the landscape design process is for our designers work alongside you to clarify scope of work. We call this the job brief. Our designers achieve this through an onsite meeting, having a conversation with you while viewing the space and assessing environmental factors which may impact the construction process.
Concept Design Proposal
From here they develop a Concept Design Proposal.
This includes hard and soft landscaping specifications alongside a basic to scale layout plan. At this stage you will receive suggestions for materials and indicative plant specifications. What we think will look good and work well in the space.
Developed Design
Once you have approved the landscape design concept then we move into the developed design phase. Here you will be provided with further plant specifications, materials detail garden infrastructure and a build quote or estimate along with a programme of works to complete the job.
Detailed Design
When a build quote is accepted we enter the final stage of the landsacpe design process. Here our designers put together a detailed design which provides our landscapers with all the information they need to construct and install your landscaping.
